TMB/Peroxide HRP Substrates:

Your horseradish peroxidase (HRP) based ELISA assays can be made more sensitive, specific and stable through the use of our Colorbursttm Blue (soluble) or (precipitating) substrates.  These unique single vial tetramethylbenzidin/peroxide formulations can detect less than 0.0008 pg of HRP, when terminated with 0.5N Sulfuric Acid and read at 450nm.

Colorburst blue (precipitating) works extremely well on Nylon and other transfer membranes leaving a crisp blue-purple precipitantwhere peroxidase is present (1,2).  It may also be used to saturate membranes and various filter strips to prepare dry stable reagent strips.
